Harris County DA Pat Lykos has announced that she will allow first time DWI offenders to apply for Pretrial Diversion and/or be eligible for a Deferred Prosecution:
Harris County District Attorney Pat Lykos announced plans Friday for a program that allows first-time DWI and drug offenders to avoid conviction, an idea she acknowledged could be a hard sell to the public.
The plan, referred to as pretrial diversion and scheduled to begin in August, was heartily endorsed by the county’s defense attorneys, supported by the sheriff deputies’ and the Houston police officers’ unions, but strongly opposed by the local chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Drivers.

Michael Jackson Autopsy Photo - As days have passed since the death of the King of Pop, many people on the Internet are starting to look for a picture of Michael Jackson’s autopsy. This is mostly generated because of the “leaked autopsy report” that was in fact a hoax.
The fake report, which among other things stated that Michael Jackson was found with pills on the stomach, broken ribs, needle injuries and scarring from numerous surgeries, was called false by official sources.

In news that is spreading like wildfire, the 2003 list of the 103 MLB baseball players who tested positive for steroids has been potentially leaked to the public. Rotoinfo.com posted the story this morning and it has been the talk of the town all day.

Many people were curious and anxiously awaiting photos of Maria Belen Chapur, the woman Governor Sanford met in Argentina, to emerge. These photos are 'reportedly' her, who was known just as "Maria" to the public, until today. The News Bizarre first uncovered the alleged photos of Maria, supposedly taken from a social networking site. Please note that no one is 100% certain if this is her or not, this currently is just speculation. Nothing has yet been confirmed.
Farrah Fawcett S Funeral (New Photos)
A private funeral for actress Farrah Fawcett will be held on Tuesday, it has been announced.
The service will take place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles at 1600 local time, church officials said.
The actress died on Thursday aged 62 after losing a three-year battle with anal cancer.
Her illness was chronicled in a US TV documentary, Farrah's Story, which was broadcast earlier this year.
The star became a 1970s icon after appearing in the US TV series Charlie's Angels.
She declared herself cancer-free four months after originally being diagnosed with cancer in September 2006, only to have the disease return in May 2007.
